What is Journey Wellness (JW)?

Journey Wellness (JW) is Journey Wellness & Consulting Group, LLC., a sexuality & gender (LGBTQAI+) affirming and sex-positive somatic psychotherapy and Somatic Sex Therapy practice. JW’s therapy and healing approaches are decolonial, healing-centered, and integrative. We center your healing narratives, support your healing themes, and help you improve your mind-body relationship with care strategies you can apply to everyday living.

What does JW do it…

With a  team of queer and trans-affirming therapists, JW provides mental health and sex therapy, in addition to, sexuality and gender education, professional development with internship and  clinical consultation. Wether you want to strengthen & deepen your relationship to yourself or others-platonically, familially, romantically, or sexually, or expand your professional capacity & knowledge base,  Journey Wellness & Consulting supports both queer and non-queer folks who are healing and curating the life they want.

JW offers both traditional outpatient therapy and community mental health therapy and support, in addition to, professional development training. Sessions (offered virtually) are individualized to meet your needs with HIPAA-compliant online technology. All therapists are under the clinical supervision of Lena Queen, M.Ed., LCSW.

The Founder

I am Lena Queen (she/they), LCSW, M.Ed,  a Black Queer femme, contemporary hippie & SistaSexologist, with over 20 years of clinical experience.  I am a full-time private practice clinical somatic sexologist, certified hypnotherapist, energy worker, plant medicine advocate, and transformational erotic life coach. As the owner of Journey Wellness & Consulting Group, LLC. (JW), it is my mission to provide sacred spaces that allow for the healing of our authentic Self and provide decolonial learning spaces for students and professionals, whether seasoned or novice.
