Juana

Juana is a licensed clinical social worker, a trauma practitioner with 20+ years of experience. Juana specializes in children and families experiencing a wide array of difficulties such as trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and school difficulties. Juana is certified in EMDR. Throughout her career, Juana has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges, develop coping strategies, and strengthen relationships. Juana’s approach is client-centered and collaborative, focusing on fostering a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard and empowered. Juana’s experience include working with the LGBTQ+ community. Juana completed a certificate program at the Transgender Institute in Philadelphia, PA further enhancing her ability to provide inclusive and affirming care to transgender individuals and their families. Juana is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) demonstrating her commitment to staying informed about the latest advancements in transgender health care. In addition to her professional work, Juana enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking through nature or relaxing by the beach. These activities help her recharge and stay grounded, allowing her to bring a calm and balanced perspective to her work.
